Welcome to learn2lingo.com (“Site”), which is owned and operated by learn2lingo Limited. The following Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the Site. Please read the agreement carefully. By using our website at www.learn2lingo.com, you (the "User") signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms of Use" or "Agreement").

Students: Persons receiving the lessons
Participants: Teachers and/or students
Services: Giving or receiving a lesson
Unsatisfactory lesson: A lesson is unsatisfactory when:
- The teacher does not arrive.
- The teacher does not log in or logs in and then leaves.
- The teacher is incoherent.
- The lesson cannot proceed due to technical problems or defects in the learn2lingo platform or teacher's equipment.
- The teacher exhibits unprofessional behaviour e.g. rudeness, incompetence.
- A lesson is not deemed unsatisfactory if the student does not enjoy the lesson.
1) Modification to the learn2lingo platform and Terms of Use
learn2lingo reserves the right to change and modify the services of learn2lingo.com and the terms of use at any point without further notice.
If we do make modifications, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future Terms of Use, do not continue to use the service. It is your responsibility to check if there have been any changes to these Terms of Use.
2) Responsibility
learn2lingo is an intermediary platform between teachers and students. Its role is to connect teachers and students; it does not, therefore, take any responsibility for the quality of the teachers or lessons. learn2lingo does not exert any control over the professional qualifications of the teachers, the identification of the participants, the content of the communications or the evaluations supplied by the students.
3) Availability
learn2lingo provides no guarantee for the availability of teachers or students or the performance of the website and platform. Hence, learn2lingo is not liable for any loss of earnings, opportunity or turnover.
4) Territorial Application
The participants agree that his or her transactions are overseen by UK law irrespective of the teacher or student’s country of residence and country of reception or provision of services.
5) Teacher obligations
The teachers are not employees of learn2lingo. It is the teacher’s responsibility to act within the law of their country of residence. The teacher is informed that the provision of services will be subject to obligation of tax declaration or liability. Regular transactions with learn2lingo may lead to an obligation to make a declaration to the fiscal administration of the teacher’s country of residence. The teacher therefore acknowledges that he or she is liable for all taxes resulting from the provision of services within the learn2lingo platform.
If a teacher does not give a satisfactory lesson learn2lingo has the right to refuse payment. learn2lingo will save each lesson for 24 hours to deal with complaints. learn2lingo has the final decision on whether a lesson is satisfactory or not.
The teacher agrees that Learn2lingo will take $2, or equivalent, from each lesson transaction.
6) Student rights
If a student considers a lesson to be unsatisfactory, he or she has 24hours to register a complaint. The complaint will be dealt with within 24hours. If learn2lingo decides that the lesson was unsatisfactory the student’s account will be reimbursed and the teacher will not receive any payment.
The decision of learn2lingo is final.
7) All participants
All participants agree that all lessons will be saved for 24 hours. Lessons are saved for 24 hours for two reasons:
1. Students can save the lesson for future use
2. If applicable, the student can register a complaint for an unsatisfactory lesson.
8) Confidentiality
Data protection – the information supplied to learn2lingo is intended for its exclusive use. learn2lingo agrees not to transfer, sell, share, commercialise, lend or give any personal or professional information to any third parties.
9) Third-party content and links to third-party web sites
The site may contain third-party owned content and links to other websites. learn2lingo does not endorse, sponsor, or otherwise accept responsibility for any linked sites. In addition, linked sites are not under the control of learn2lingo. learn2lingo is not responsible for the content of linked sites.
10) Acceptance of Terms
This agreement is an electronic contract that governs your use of learn2lingo services. By checking the box indicating that you accept these terms, you create an electronic signature that has the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature.
11) Termination
learn2lingo reserves the right to terminate your access to and use of the site, with or without your notice. Otherwise applicable sections of the agreement shall survive termination.
12) Registration
To become a participant of learn2lingo, you need to register with learn2lingo.com. You must fill in all mandatory fields with true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself and update and maintain this information as applicable to ensure it remains this way. learn2lingo has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse future use of the service if it suspects that personal and professional information is untrue,
not current, incomplete or inaccurate.
13) Security
Participants are responsible for securing the confidentiality of their password and username provided during registration and are fully responsible for all activities that are in their account. You agree to notify learn2lingo of any unauthorised use of your account.
14) Applicable Laws
You agree that you will not use learn2lingo.com for any purpose that is unlawful. Use of learn2lingo.com is for your personal and non-commercial use, learn2lingo ltd does not grant you any rights to use the site for any other purpose.
